Populating the couch!

Hey there everyone, I'm really psyched! Finally, my RG3520z arrived!
I gathered the "family" for a reunion photo. Without longer delay, here's a picture of them (description follows bellow):

So here's a little story about them:

*The first is a (GIO) GRX20 that I bought in 2001 (my first Ibanez).

*The second is a RG2550 (My first real Ibanez :P ).

*The third is the newest of the pack, RG3520Z, which I upgraded with a Tone Zone and an Air Norton. Just to get that 3620Z feel without the extra spending :P (had to sold my RR1, but meh, who cares).

*The last one has a funny story:
I bought an amplifier head, soon I bought another one, so I traded the first for a bass. The bass was old (1984), and it required a major setup, which I couldn't afford... so I traded it again, this time for a Godin SD. Let me tell you, it was a really good guitar... until someone offered to trade it for a S470.
At first I was a bit skeptical... but then I realized it was a 93 model, MIJ. Which got my hopes back. The guy barely played the damn thing, he said the floating tremolos were too much for his head. Lucky me, after I got it home, replaced the 0.009 string gauge with a 0.010, did a quick setup, et voilá! It plays as brand new! Has an awesome sound, and the neck is really confortable. And believe me, I tested it good, there was whammy abuse screaming all over the place, and the damn thing kept on tune!

The cool thing is, I managed to get two great guitars in less than a week (s470 and RG3520Z), as you may imagine, I'm drooling here!

Cheers!

Cool. I really dig that RG3520z.

Cancelled an order I made on an S670FM-ATF because of the things I heard about the Ibbys made in Indonesia and I put my eyes on the RG3620Z now....

Just a little bit more work...

True! I was going to get a white guitar... but there wasn't a nice one around, so... what the hell, maybe this way people will look at me, and not at the guitar... it could be useful if there are ladies in the house ;P Just kidding! I really didn't had much choice when it comes to colours.

Out of all those, do you have a distinct favorite?

Well, actually yes, the s470 is really growing on me! I had not time to properly test the RG3520Z. But the thing is, I got the s470 in a trade, I was expecting it to be less than what I figure it was. I was wrong, the thing is basically prestige quality, not to mention it's lighter, so it's easy to play around with it. Oh.... and it screams! It's really confortable to play with it and make it sound like you want it to.

I got an 88 Saber with an original Edge, and I absolutely love it.

How do you like the 3620Z after playing it?

Thanks to all for your replies!

Powerslave214 (nice taste in music btw :P) - It plays really really great, the sound is rich and full, sustain is also great, the neck is as slim as the other prestige, altough it's a bit rounder, which makes it even more confortable to play. It sounds really good, it's hard to describe.

Nice man, very black....

I love the look of the RG3520Z - the grain with the inlay through the body looks classy....

Way to go with the Dimarzio upgrades too, nice pick's either side...

True, I didn't intended to go all that black... but I had no choice on the S. When I bought the 2550 there wasn't the white model around. Although I thought many times on having the 2550 repainted.
Oh, and the RG3520's Hymalayan black is actually brown :P
