Re: Post pictures of your Prestiges or J-Customs...

My '06 SZ4020ntf. possibly one of the most beautiful guitars i own.

i just love the way the woods all come together on this one. the neck is smooth and still fairly thin while still having tons of tone. stock pups sound good. the weight is a tad on the heavy side but still probably lighter than a Les Paul.

Wow, very nice. I am a sucker for flamed maple tops.

I bet that thing sounds incredible.

I thought I would give the "guitar line up on couch" picture a try.
Standing up from left to right: 2005 RG1820XGK; 2006 J-Custom RG8470AVV; 1995 USRG30TP; 2007 UV777PBK
Lying down: 2006 RG1820XGK
Not Pictured Yet: 2007 JEM77VBK (Someday it will arrive)

Where'd you get that neck on that 2005 RG1820X? That's one sweet collection.

It came off of a J-Custom 8620S from a really nice guy who wanted a maple neck on his instead. I am sure if you look around on the ibanezregister.com web site you'll see the other half of it
Budd, didn't you put in the ESP Arming Adjusters in your RG8670?

So that's where my 8620S neck ended up!! Looks great on the RG1820X! Here's the other half he's talking about - my 8620S (pups have been recently changed to Bare Knuckle "Rebel Yell set") with the 8570MVV neck:

They should call it the Tony Montana model, it looks like something Scarface would play with the black and gold.
Although, all three of those are just damn sexy. Very nice collection.

Yep that's me.. I have it installed in ALL my guitars. You can't go wrong with one. I love it a whole lot better than the Ibanez backstop and the Rockinger Blackbox. (I'll have to do up a review to compare all three sometime).

Budd,

Without wanting it to take a big deal of your time, could you do at least a brief comparison between the three in a separate tread? I'd be very interested in your comments on how the AA compares to the backstop.

Thanks much in advance.

Gus.
