i gotta say that i was pretty disappointed about the neck of the rgt2020
my story:
i the proud owner of a rg1550 with a 3pc
maple neck with
maple fretboard
i got it for bout 650 euros
the only thing u ve got to change are the pickups... but the rest is so ****in fine! the neck feels so smooth and thin, as it was made only for me!
last weekend i had the chance to play the rgt2020 and i was thinking for the money u have to pay, it must be twice as good as the rg1550...
the pickups were fine, have to say that, nice sound, sustain was great, too, action was way to high from factory and the neck....... it was so rough, like finished with stones or something. it didnt had the smooth feeling i was thinking of! for 1600 euros... i thought the prestige series had extra finished necks? my rg1550 is a dream come true, but the rgt2020
