if the prices of 3120 and this year's puzzle top RG2006's keep approaching 8270's why don't they make that model standard in USA? as cool as the puzzle top is, 8270 is a much better investment, imho.
3120 ~$1500 is NOT competitive but 8270 around the price of jem7wh is!

You're assuming the list prices would be comparable to Japan, and I can ssure you they would not be. When they were going to import defunct and discontinued RG8570's last year they were going to List them at $3000.
