Production Numbers RG20062
I own a RG20062 otherwise known as the "Puzzle Guitar". It's the red one. I was just woundering how many were made. Anybody know off-hand or can anyone steer me in the right direction for the answer. Txs

Re: Production Numbers RG20062
I would take a guess that there is NO production number records to be found. The only thing that made them limited was that they were only produced for a year rather than say a limited run of a few hundred - just a guess on my part.
I have the same red one - LOVE IT!!

Really? Cool. I didn't think they actually were as "limited" as that. Maybe I should feel bad then about using mine as a player then....NOT!

Re: Production Numbers RG20062
Correction.
64 is an importation number, which is what you'll usually get it in the US, and it's a HUSA number only, does not include Chesbro or offshore of course.

LOL, the one on the right is the RG20064 Puzzle and the one on the left is my RG2820 CTTW (just in case you got left and right mixed up, I know I do sometimes
)

Re: Production Numbers RG20062
That amber top looks nice. It shows the flame and quilt maple very well.
I really wanted the RG20063 but I'm very happy with my red version now that I have one.
It would have been ultra cool to have all three as staples for gigs.

For such a basic difference as left and right, I too mix them up more often than I'd like...
Both are very nice guitars though; especially the RG2820.
By the way, I've only been seriously looking at these forums for a short while now, but is it just me or are there a load of Dutch people here?

Re: Production Numbers RG20062
There are at least two bad RG20063's in the US. I went through three to get a mint one. One was posted on here and the puzzle pieces were really spaced very badly and the other had a large gouge in it near the trim. So if there are only 64 in the states you can take it down to 62. Then I have a buddy that plays his (beat badly already) and the electronics have been changed out to active...so you might even say 61 if you are a collector.
