Purple Prestige found at ****

Hey, I noticed this guitar on **** and thought somebody might like to look...This thing is cool. *I think I saw a thread saying these were only in Texas? *Is that right?

It's been on **** before. I think the seller is a Jemsiter.
Very rare, probly worth a lot. $1800? I don't know.

Yep, it's mine. *As far as I know, these were made for the GC chain in TX in very limited numbers. *I had a red one that was similar--two cream buckers and gold hardware...sold that for $2100.

The longer I keep this one, the more I get attached. * *I've sold off a few other guitars to justify having such an expensive piece... may just sell my 3120 and decide to keep it.

A little info on the DPP-2's.....

They weren't "made" for GC-TX; The buyer for the Texas stores happend to see them available and bought all 12 of them. *They weren't made for anyone really. (Well, maybe for ME! *LOL)

MSRP on them was $2999. *No case.

Remember: *It's still a Prestige.

Jeez Kevan, now I'm feeling inferior with my lowly Prestige. *

I think I read previously where Glen said that Prestige and J-Customs were made in the same factory (?)...simply badged for different markets. *Either way, it's quite an instrument. *I believe the model number on this one is RGPR2.

Sorry, Kevan, but that looks better than quite a few J-Customs I've seen...
