Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

Going against the grain here, but I think the puzzle design looks AWFUL. Also really dislike the 12th fret inlay. Also have you see the price!

Just my 2c.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

I love it, its different and unique, not something you see a lot of from Ibanez...It would have been cool though if all the inlays were little puzzle pieces instead of dots..

That's pretty cool, when I first saw that on Rich's site, I was amazed how nice that looks (Rich takes the best pictures by the way), I think it's a pretty unique thing that Ibanez did. Would be cool if they had a 7-string like that.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

I'm not to keen on it. Looks like they copied the illusive Peavey Vandenberg Puzzle design, those are unique.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

I remember that PV guitar. The pieces were just a graphic, not overlays like the Ibanez.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

Sorry, I think the puzzle graphic on the Peavy is ulgy and I wouldn't consider it a rip off since the Ibanez is individual pieces.

Nice. I remember those guitars...i've never seen one with the puzzle piece design though, cool.

I like the Ibanez better though.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

I was just thinking, the puzzle pieces are cool, but I would really love to see them do a M.C. Escher tessellation. I'm not sure if they have ever been done on a guitar.

Re: Puzzle 2006 Limited

If you had those Eschers in a fabric, then you could make it a project guitar, with a matching headstock. I don't know how awesome (if at all) it would be though. Seems to me that it wouldn't be cool on a guitar.
