Question about USRG30 Neck...

My friend recently acquired an RG520QS with the original wizard profile and I love the solid overall feel of it. I was just simply wondering if the USRG30 has a similar/identical neck profile since I might be acquiring one soon... Some have said its a super thin neck, others said it was rounder like an ultra neck. LOL kinda different if you ask me...

I think I read somewhere once that the USRG necks were susposed to have the Wizard profile. My USRG30 definitely has a Wizard profile. But, my USRG10 is more Ultra. I know, not much help. --Jason

It is thin, but I'd say it has quite a V profile to it, not rounded. Is Wizard what you'd find on an old S540? If so it ain't a Wizard. Feels quite different to the majority of Ibanez necks I've played, definitely the most noticeable V on it.

Mine didn't have a v profile to it. It's basically like a Wizard neck, just chunkier. More like a medium U profile, I guess. It had a good feel to it. Here's a picture of the side profile of my old USRG30. You can see the thickness of the neck compared to the body.
