Replacement 20th RG550 DSY Body....

...just incase you need it - 320140060795. I wondered when someone was going to part out these guitars. I guess maybe they're not getting what they want for them. Maybe they thought after the initial buying surge from stores the value would go up and sale for more than they retailed for.

Oh well.

That's sad - I wonder what happened to the neck?

Apparently they used it for a custom project, but why use a 20th DY Neck???

Re: Replacement 20th RG550 DSY Body....

It's expected I guess. This is the kind of stuff that will make them worth more in the long run, if not more dollar value then sentimental value for those of us that have them and keep them nice. I bet a good third of them are already jacked up. The price point was low enough to make these desirable for players as much as collectors...

I wonder what number this one was? Should be recorded somewhere as destroyed...

I believe Legacy One Guitars can make a neck like that for you no problem.

Anyone else catch how the neck pocket route is different from the originals? Makes me wonder if the necks have the fingerboard overhang. --Jason

They don't have the overhang. The 20th neck is built like an AANJ in that it's solid all the way to the end.

Do these necks take some time getting used to? For some reason when i played it, i had somewhat a difficult time playing, there may have been many factors, but whats your opinion?

If you are used to playing a Gibson or Fender tree trunk, maybe, but they are just like most Ibanez, thin and fast with a fairly flat fretboard only more so... It has alot to do with the setup.

The setup was low, i play a lowend Ibanez GRG, prolly just needs some getting used to.

It's sad to see one of the 20th's parted out already =( I wonder how hard it will be to find a neck to fit that body that's for sale?
