RG-1570 finish question

Hello, I need to spray a clear coat over top of the old finish of my Prestige RG-1570. I was wondering if any of you would know what kind of finish Ibanez might have used on my guitar? I bought it in 2004.

Most Jap finishes are a polyurethane.
