I am wondering what you guys think of this guitar, it's got an extra-long scale neck to stay stable with low tunings, and is equipped with seymour Duncan pickups and a nice Jewel Blue finish...

What's your experience with this guitar?
I started a little search but couldn't find much, is it true that they're designed in LA but made in Japan?

I just got an RG CSD1 (single EMG in the bridge) with a Holoflash finish.

As for the guitar - sweet player chrome hardware, Lo-pro, 5 pc neck w/bubinga stripes. I like the clean look of the board with only the LACSD marking at the 12th. Not a big fan of EMG's, but I'll give it a shot for a while.

As for the Holoflash finish - oh my god! I've never seen anything like it.

BTW - what is "seleced" rosewood? Did they mean to say selected?

I cant find any mentioning of seleced whatsoever, it shall probably be a typo meaning selected indeed.
I will try the guitar out next week along with a Jem7BSB and a PGM90HAM, on paper its the weaker of the three, but I'm sure you won't find much of them outside Japan !
I checked the other guitars out as well here on jemsite, the whole series looks pretty nice
The only (not really) problem I van find is that the pickups aren't direct-mounted...

A friend of mine has the JB one with Duncans and he loves it. He traded a RG620X or somesuch for it and he said it was lots better than the RG620.
