Yes it does, it confirms Chris' isn't a fluke # or replacement neck (an assumption for sure) and identifies a batch in the 49K range. I'm assuming there was no control # as there wasn't on Chris'?

as said previously the store also has two RG paints [4&5] one of which looks like a crayon/van Gogh thingy + RG Gear, and RG 9670 GA etc.etc.

Hello! *Haven't been around for a few months. *You guys might remember me....I started a post asking how many of these RG-ARTs were produced (My RG-ART-1 Story/how many produced? [My search story/how many are there??], Posted on: 12:22 pm on July 29, 2001). *Anyway, recently checked back with the forum and noticed this thread so I'm excited to add the information about my RG-ART!! *Here goes:

•Serial Number: *F9749148 (I've noticed some posts listing *2* serial numbers but I just found this one on the headstock)
•Location : Florida, USA
•Guitar Store Name: *Purchased brand new (never owned) in March 1999 from SLC Muzik in West Malaysia. *Cost was around US$2300
•Original Owner (if known): Me, Scott B.
•Current Owner (if known): Me, Scott B.

Can was presume (notice I didn't say *ASS*ume :biggrin: ) that serial numbers 149 and 150 are RG-ARTs too?
