I think I've seen that before. Kinda cool, though.

You guys can stop IM'ing me about this one. LOL

Looks kinda home-made to me. One pic doesn't say much, but the shouting of the listing sure got my attention....*click*close window*
NOTE: If you insist on using ALL CAPS in your auction, I will not only not give you my money, but I will also mock you mercilessly all over the 'net until the end of your auction. You have been warned. :-)

My guess: It was part of Guitar Gallery down in FL. Someone bought it from George's shop, broke one of the dragon horns off, and now it's on consignment at some store.
NOTE: It was *not* part of the original 1997 lineup. It might have a '97 serial number, but it wasn't in with the ART, GEAR, etc.

Hmm...I don't recall seeing it at that show, but...anything's possible! That was a great booth (my favorite to date!) I was too transfixed by Satch's "Snake" and Vai's Triple-neck to pay attention to much else! I do remember there being quite a few eye-catching models on display that year though (even an extremely gaudy one with all kinds of Egyptian stuff on it!)

Yeah, I think I remember holding/playing this very guitar at Jemfest last June.

The guitar shop in Downtown Disney (pleasure island) had a few "carved" ibanez guitars around '97, including at least one WAY more detailed than that ebay carved axe. I photographed a few... but have no clue where the photos are - sorry... glen

Well...I'm STILL waiting for more detailed pics from the guy. He owns the store, it IS on consigment from a guy who bought it orginally from the Guitar Gallery in Georgia, so they say.

I wrote the model number and serial number down somewhere but can't find it.....I'll call him again and get it and post it.

Wooden nickels. The paper they're printed on is worth 10x as much.
