RG2550 Spring Vibrating

I recently bought a new RG2550z and I really like it so far.

Except for one small thing.. Sometimes I hear this odd sound that seems to be coming from inside the guitar so I would assume it's the springs. I've had other trems with springs and they've never done this so I'm guessing it has something to do with the ZPS. Is there something I can put in the cavity to stop them from vibrating or can I remove the ZPS?

Thanks.

rubberfoam, or paper tissues, ŕ la Vai. or even rubber tubing, 5mm external diameter.

Re: RG2550 Spring Vibrating

Tear a strip of paper roughly the length of the spring. Roll it into a tube as tightly as you can.

Insert said tube into the spring.

Repeat for other springs. Job done, and unlike the other methods (Tissue paper, etc), this one doesn't foul up the springs, so it doesn't screw up the tuning stability.

Such a simple solution and so obvious! Thanks!
