Re: RG2570 EVSL RGA321F(custom) RGT220A RG2550 ESP Eclipse

Okay, here's what I would buy -
An RG2570 for standard tuning
An RGA321 for Drop D
An RGT220A for a 1/2 step down
An RG2550 for C#
An ESP Eclipse for Drop C
(Blame it on G.A.S and feel free to change the tunings of the respective guitars)

On a serious note, you've been taking a lot of heat for your posts, but from what I've read - you've been handling it with grace. (Of course, I haven't read all of your 75 posts)

Don't forget the other 69 he posted under a different account.

He seems to have stopped posting such stupid threads now so I dropped it.

It is strange to think that there are 107 previous posts at this point for a thread that people are tired of commenting on.
On the flip side, I like when there are 107 posts congratulating someone when they get their first "real" guitar, or dream guitar, or JEM, etc. I save you a post when you finally decide on yours, RGIbanez123.

I dont play professionally so I dont need a guitar for each tuning. I can just buy a guitar (Rg220A) with floyd rose and put a tremol-no in it and tune it to any tuning right??

The Esp Eclipse is one of my dream guitars. I really want it. Its an Eclipse II FM. Not a really expensive model like an Eclipse Custom II but i think its fine. Has emg 81's in b and n.

You can, but it's not going to play too great if it's set up for playing in E and you tune it to drop C. Especially if you're using light gauge strings. They'll be flopping and buzzing all over the place.

Why do you need to play in so many tunings, anyway? You can just play the same songs in a different key.

yea. but i dont usually do that. I play it like its written. What if i use 10's? It wont flop and buzz as much. What do you mean? Standard E and i lock the bridge into a dive only position or hardtail and do drop c. There wont be a problem would there?

Have you considered a seven or an eight string?

lol good one.

anyway, you should really simplify your playing of covers...that is, if you want to play in tune. C tuned 25"5 scale will flop if you dont use at least 11-52, besides the intonation will go off as hell. and you can forget about using a floyd-rose with such strings.
anyways, if you tune that back to E your strings will be so tight it will screw up your action and intonation.
i mean really, is it so hard to transpose +/- 1 or 2 semitones? you can do that real time in winamp and you can do that with every gp4 file.

You need a guitar with a hard tail, a whammy pedal and a new linkin park cd, along with a barney t-shirt
