RG2570Z pickup question

I recently got a new RG2570Z. As most of you know, the pickups are not that good. BTW, I love the guitar, the pups are just not happening for me. I've decided on a drop sonic for the bridge and the middle pup will suffice as I only use it for cleans and it does what I need it to do. I use the neck pup only for soloing, so I was wondering would a higher gain pup soung ok in that position? I am thinking Evo 2. Anyone care to chime in. Thanks!

Re: RG2570Z pickup question

yea man. evo 2 would do well in neck. if you really like high gain just get an evo neck, that thing shreds.
