You say true. Maybe to change the hardware some day? Black or gold maybe?

LOL.

Actually I like the look of gold. Kinda classy. Not sure I'm a classy kinda guy though.

Gold isn't really cool for a floating bridge. For hardtail/TOM it could be cool and it's a hit-miss on vintage style bridges.

I don't quite agree with you guys about gold. For example on this example I think it looks pretty good: http://magnusolsson.com/pics/nya_gitarrer/mo2_stor.jpg

Re: RG2770 - first picture

That is indeed pretty sweet, but the gold only fits because it's a maple board :P

Re: RG2770 - first picture

Personaly I think gold would work just as well with a rosewood board. Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree

Re: RG2770 - first picture

The JEM 7VWH put me off gold hardware for life. It's supposed to look classy but to me it looks cheap and tacky, and like it's trying too hard to be classy. Also, in the UK, gold is synonymous with chavs. They are sportswear wearing, trouble-making, gold chain wearing youths and nobody likes them very much. If you like gold hardware, that's all that matters, but I have my reasons not to.
