RG3120...Pickups....?

Just wondering what other pickup combinations you guys have tried with the RG3120 or similar guitars. I was not too imprest with the Tone Zone in that guitar so I replaced both pickups with EMGs(81-B,89-n).

I think the 3120's are sweet guitars and I'm wondering how they sound with Steve's Specials, Air Norton in the neck, and Posibly EVOs, or any others people have tried and liked or didn't like. Thanks!

I'm also thinking about changing around the pups in my 3120. The tone zone is just way to muddy and bassy in the mahogany. I was thinking evos.

When you get around to it let me know how the evo's work out for you. Thanks.

I suggest trying a FRED in the bridge. Lead tones cover the spectrum and sound excellent in a guitar with a mahogany body. I have a JS6000 that's all mahogany with a FRED in the bridge and it is incredible
