RG3550MZ
I thought I'd post a few pics of my Galaxy White RG3550MZ I received about 2 weeks ago.. It will stand up to any Jem I've owned..
EXCELLENT
instrument!! I've owned probably 30+ Ibanez RGs and Jems over the years.. This may be the best model I've owned yet..

Major drool factor!! I've seen this on HCEG Forums. Simply gorgeous guitar mate. I'd love to buy one of those but they are not being sold in Europe I think. Congratz on an awesome guitar!

It sucks so much that we don't get those here in europe! Or the 1550 for that matter...
Congratz man, it looks great!

Agreed mate. If they were released in Europe I'd snap one up like a shot. Axeslinger, the pickguard on that guitar has always puzzled me a bit. In some of the pics it looks to have a purple tinge to it on others nothing. Can you confirm does it actually look purple in real life? I think the 2550 models had the same sort of brushed aluminium p'guards that when viewing photos of the actual guitar left me a bit unsure as to the colour.

Re: RG3550MZ
That's actually a reflection of my house that gives it that color tint.. And it's a Peach colored vinyl siding
I haven't taken the pickguard plastic of yet.. But from a peak at a corner that's peeling back it appears to be a brushed aluminum..

Really nice but I don't think I've ever warmed up to the ghost sharkstooth inlays.

Re: RG3550MZ
i think the ghost sharkteeth look way more subtle and not so "cheesy 80's fluoro metal" than normal sharktooth inlays. but yes, they are very very playable guitars. nice work.

Re: RG3550MZ
I like how the neck binding ties in with the body color and i think the inlays tied in well with the pickguard.. The quality of the instrument is incredible.. I cannot find one flaw anywhere..
I did however remove the trem setter apparatus immediately so the trem would free float.. I don't understand why the EZ is getting a bad rap.. I've owned plenty of the previous versions and think this is a step forward.. The offset saddle set screw and onboard intonation tool are pure genius imo..
