RG560 - to buy or not to buy?

Alright. My brother in law owns this purple/magenta 90's MIJ RG560 (HSS, no pickguard type) - the headstock is also painted a matching color and has the Edge trem on it. I took the neck off and that's where I believe I saw "RG560". The headstock has only the serial number and "made in japan".

Thing is, he'd rather shove a 9 volt into the trem cavity to "block" it because he hates tremolos with a passion, and he's got a real nice OLD aria pro, so I'm considering making an offer to buy it from him; I currently own 2 ibanez, might as well get another, right?

He claims to have paid less than $200 for it, however, what would you guys offer a buddy of yours if he had a nice old-school RG and never uses it?

It would need a fret dressing, aside from that its perfect, plus ive never seen another purple RG ever.. so who knows, are these things rare?

If if is in good structural shape 200 is a good deal even with having to get the frets done. Look for cracking at the behind the nut. Heck get both while you are there

Get it dude. For that price you can't really go wrong with a MIJ Ibby. Now go and get it
