RG7-CT ??? - Avaibility ???

Hi,

I just wondered myself if the RG7-CT was still available ??? Because I felt in love when seeing one on a website !!! I saw also a RG6-CST and the same question came to my mind : is it still available ???

If not , where can I find one used ? How many were made ?

Cheers,

Fabian

RG7-CT ???

I think you're talking about the CSTs? A few of the guys on this website have them (Kevan, for one) so... As for availability, I think twelve were made; second hand ones are a different story, as people who bought them seem to love them and so they probably won't sell them.

CT (non piezo) & CSTs (piezo) are long gone. Look in the used market ...glen

RG7-CT ???

Actually just earlier today I was surfing http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/ and they say they just got one new RG-7CT in. I know they don't ship to the USA, but maybe your home country.

They answer e-mail in English, so give it a shot.

RG7-CT ???

Good luck!

The RG7-CTVV was a limited run prestige model... only a dozen or two were made. They have a mahogany body, flamed maple top, rosewood fretboard, Dimarzio new7 pickups, and cosmo hardware. They were on the market about a year and a half ago. I bought mine at Guitar Center.

The RG6-CST was a limited run J-custom... again, only a dozen or two were made. They have mahogany bodies, swamp ash tops, ebony fretboards (no inlays!), PAF Pro/Tone Zone pickups, piezo pickups, and cosmo hardware. I think they were on the market about 2 years ago. I scrounged one of them up off of e-bay.

I've seen a few RG7-CTVV's on e-bay (or maybe just the same one reoccuring), but I don't think I've seen any other RG6-CST's up for sale. Both of them are killer axes!

If you have questions about the guitars, let me know.
