RG8520 different versions?

I noticed on the Ibanez Register it had a RG8520 with only one volume and one tone knob and it was in blue. I thought all the 8520's had the 2 volume and tone knobs and were either tan or red...?

Were there different versions of this made throughout the years or was this a typo or....?

Not a typo. I don't have the dates memorized, but the first incarnation of the 8520 had 2 volume and 2 tone knobs. The later incarnation (2003-2004 I think) only had 1 volume and 1 tone.

Oh ok. Cause when I looked up the dates of the J-Customs on the JEMSITE specs, it showed the 8520 was only made or introduced at the 2002 NAMM. Thats why I was wondering.... it only looked like they made it for one year or something...

The 2002 model had 4 knobs, the 2004 model had two knobs and a matching headstock.
