RGA121 modding

Hey fellow jemsiters,

I would like to run this by the forum before I do it to get some opinions.

I have an RGA121 and I want to string it with the elixer baritone set, it's going to be played in drop B tuning and I like the feel of this set of strings (they aren't like rubber bands).

Here's the problem, the .68 low string won't fit (really close though) I'm thinking of using my dremel to remove a very small amount of material in order to accommodate the string.

Before I do this has anyone done drop B with a different strings with good results? Also feel free to let me know if this is a bad idea and why.

Instead of a baritone set you could buy a seven strings set and drop off the high E.
I have done in this way with my six strings guitar and i tune this in Drop-A.The gauge of a seven strings set is thinner than a baritone set, so you don't use your dremel and don't waste the capo .

I strung it up with 56-13's and that seems pretty good, I'm going to hold off on the frankenstein job.
