spotted that yesterday to , didnt realy like the vine, the colour was in my opinion awfull, i dont know if its a fake ... who knows

until you have anything contrary to what he says, how can you be sure it's bull?

looks like english isn't his first language.. if he really does have a friend at hoshino then he'd probably speak Japanese so that part makes slight sense..

PS: i love the unique vine design, subtle traditional look, but i don't like the colour

Yeah, the vine doesn't really trip my trigger (the vine appears purple with yellowish leaves - choke) but it's a good price for a legit RGA121 anyway, *especially* if it's really Air Norton and FRED pickups in it.

Good eye. It does look like the cert says that, which is clearly waaaaaaay off since it's an RGA121VLF with a vine (inlay or sticker) and *maybe* good DiMarzio pickups.

cmon we've got to do better than that, look at it subjectively- the RGA121 isn't fake, the vine may still be inlayed so we don't know if that's fake.

so then the certificate- what's a 'faker' doing with a real Jcustom certificate unless he's somewhat a legit player atleast? and it's still possible seeing as they don't make an RGA121vlfV certificate that his mate at hoshino simply threw that one in..

if his story isn't true but the vine is real then he has a custom RGA121(still a legit item) and probably also owns a Jcustom unless he taxed that pic.

it all comes down to if the vine is real or not. if it is, it's a real custom RGA121 whether the story is spun or not

just my 2 cents...I dont care for the vine inlay, but I do think the RGA121 should have something other than just simple dots as fretmarkers...I wish Ibanez would offer the RGA with a better finsih (other than the blue 321) and with an upgraded inlay option...the guitar is a wicked good player...I own 2 of them, one in natural and one in the violin finish (which is the darker finish same as on the **** pics)...as an aside, the darker finish one is quite a bit heavier than the natural finish...they are the same guitar, but I guess the density of the wood is different...I much prefer the weight and balance on the lighter weight one and will probably be ****ing my violin finish one soon.
