Rgt 2020?

Any info on these? I'm thinking about ordering one and everything sounds nice on paper but I have never seen one in person. I currently have an RGT3120 so I expect the neck profile to be the same. The big selling point to me is the oil finish. I like the idea of having an oil finished neck as opposed to the gloss finish on my 3120.

did you get the RGT2020 or the newer RGT220?

yeah, agreed. gloss finish of the RGT3120 neck is a bit too much. hate 'em.

Nice guits I have one with the body refinished in matte black, but with the neck left unfinished. Very nice

Yes, it's the RGT2020 not the newer model. Certain websites have them at over 50% off list right now since they are being discontinued.

UK prices for the RGT2020 have not changed, one shops still has the RG3120 in, and the price is £1000

I can only assume they were discontinued because they weren't selling as well as Ibanez had hoped for.

They've just up-dated them a bit and there's still the older ones left in shops.
I personally prefer the older ones anyway.(like the off-set dots)
