RGT220H Opinions?

Hi, just wondering what the overall view of this model is?
Im trying to decide whether to get one or not and just wondered how others have got on with them.
I tend to favour the looks of the mahogany over the ash.
All opinions are most appreciated.

A few people i've read reviews from buy the ash one if they play detuned, seems like the ash brightens up the sound when you tune down.

Could you not stain the ash if you thought it was too bright?

Ive just been looking at the ash model and yeah its growing on me so Im not sure which to get if I do decide on the RGT220

I've never played these ones but had the chance to try a RGT3120 in trans purple... with the 2 Paf Pro... that was great!!!!

I miss these old RGT3120!!! I should have bought one...

Didn't really care for either of the the 220's.
The 3120's aren't made anymore, but I liked them, and the RGT3020QRRB? It's something like that, it's brown royal burst, the flagship prestige, that was my favorite when I owned the 220's and all the prestige models from '05 to '06

The Ash and Mah 220's we're not to my liking, my Mah needed to be refretted in order to even be set up right, shame it was so bad right out of the case like that.
The Ash didn't need a refret, but I just didn't like the feel of the neck for some reason?
The QRBBRGT was the sweetest I remember, just beautiful!
Doubt this helps any, just inspect it closely which ever one you decide.

Ok thanks for the info, Ive also got a RGT3120 in the equation now, any opinions on them, they do seem seriously nice Do you think it would be better than the RGT220 models?

Yes, no comparison and a lot more expensive to boot !
