RGT3120TV... thoughts? ..Should I take the plunge? ;o)

I've been thinking about getting an RGT3120TV for a loong time now..
http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar...GT3120&color=1
It just seems so sweet and looks like it plays like a dream.
What are peoples thoughts here on this guitar from those that
own or have played one? How is the sustain & playability with that
Ultra Prestige (neck-thru) ? Recently had a cool offer come up where
owning one just may finally become reality!

If you had choice would you rather have one with a Lo Pro Edge or
the Edge Pro bridge? The main advantage I can see with the updated
'03 trem is the convenient option of threading string ball ends thru the
bridge, not always being forced to have to cut them off. & the improved
intonation point with the new saddles. Other than that are there any
major advantages from one to the other? Any issues with tuning stability
on the older vs. new trems for this model? Let me know what you think
of this guitar, how you like yours/etc., & if I should go for it!!

Thanks!
-Vince

If the price is right, go ahead! it's a killer guitar. The ultra neck is chunkier than most Ibanez, so if you're used to Wizards, try it first.

As for the trem, they are both great, given there's no problem with the studs in the EP (which is ocassional, not every EP equipped guitar has trouble).

I concur with caprile...If you're used to a Jem-style neck, play it first. It was too chunky around the back for me - otherwise a ver nice guitar

I have played an RG3120 does the RGT neck feel anything like that?
My main guitar is the RG2027x so I'm used to the feel there. I think
I'm gonna do the trade since I've always admired the RGT3120 from
afar. The guitar just looks like it plays smooth & fast And the
neck-thru would be sweet. Not sure about the gloss finish on the
bakc of the neck tho I'll probably get used to it. Unfortunately
the local shop here in town doesn't carry the higher end Ibanez
line so playing one beforehand is out at this point. At least when
he comes over here to do the swap I'll get to try it first lol

Actually, the RGT neck is quite different than an RG3120, it has the same basic shape but it is quite a bit thicker; I actually like the thicker profile better but then that is just me.

I personnally like the rg3120 better, but if you prefer the rgt, go for the brown one, not the violet, its much cooler.

I love the neck on mine, and prefer it over the RG3120's. Once I put in an AN/TZ pickup combo, the RGT3120TV rocked the pants off the RG3120 (IMO). And the neck thickness isn't that radical a departure from a JEM neck (comparing it to my BFP), but it is noticably more substantial than a Wizard... or Super Wizard on the 'regular' 3120.
And if you're into orange/red guitars, the TB may be for you. Personally, I like the TV much better and think the violet chrome hardware is a great match for it.

for anything! well.. maybe.. heh. was just jammin on it 5 mins
ago thru my JM150 with 2 speaker cabs setup on both sides of the room
in stereo. I put a new set of 10's on too, this morning The 2027 is one
guitar I can't seem to put down & stop playing once I pick it up.
