Question

rgt320Q Killer finish-and guitar

Hi guys
Im just here to ask a few questions on the rgt320Q. In my opinion its by far the nicest looking ibanez ive seen(others may disagree) and i know the pickups arent the best in the world, but are they pretty versatile guitars? and if i were to cange the pkups which would you recommend? I was thinking evolutions?
Oh and the necks pretty damm good aswell ive heard. does it play as well with the j customs?

thnks for the much needed help
ashton.

Yes the rgt 320q is awesome, In my opinion the Pickups are alright, there are no pickups which is the best in the world, it's always based on personal preferences, some say evo is the best some say not, I would recomend the air norton and tone zone combination

Re: rgt320Q Killer finish-and guitar

If you're gonna buy one, make sure you see it or at least a pic of it, Like all Ibanez guitars with figured tops they vary in look and quality considerably. I haven't seen one that looks like the pic on the Ibanez website. Regarding the pups, what kind of music do you play and what gear do you use ??

If i were you, id stick to J Customs, the ones you asked about earlier. They look better, already come with better pickups, and (i think) dont have the painted neck
Thats just me though

Re: rgt320Q Killer finish-and guitar

Ive got an RGT320 and Ive been tossing different pick ups in it. I found the X2N (obviously in the bridge) to be too much in it. I didnt like the Fred in the neck. Now Im trying the tone zone and paf pro combo and it seems to be fair. I wish it had a little more power but I'm going to play it for a while before I try anymore changes

The RGT320 is a great guitar, but I'd still stick to my J-Customs. I love my neck-thru JCRG-2 and wouldn't give it up for RGT320 (but then again.. why would I??).

Re: rgt320Q Killer finish-and guitar

Yeah I play **** lots of rock, van halen, steve vai, satch, michael angelo, Frank Zappa, Led Zep but also a hell of a lot of blues, clapton, stevie ray...ohh and a bit of Jazz. Quite a mix really ha ha. But yeah im looking for a versatile guitar, but the look for me is a key thing, but the neck on the rgt320 looks damm good as well
