What a sweet, sweet looking Axe!

Looks like James (aka Mr. Spark) already picked up number 1 for resale.
I would but I have to stop at 3 J-Customs.

Sorry for reviving an older thread but that really is a beautiful guitar. A well known Ibanez trader from Japan has 2 of these on the bay at the moment, item number: 170408264002.

Hi All ! This is my first post here , I bought #1 It really is something else.
Indoors it has a lot of green in it , more like a turquoise coloring which was a surprise as in the pics it looked solid blue. I'm not sure if this was the case with the RRG1's

I love the white back on that it's just SO classy!!! It reminds me of the old PRS signatures that had stained tops and matching pastel backs.

Agreed ! The white back def makes it ! What I also really like is that the white is slightly transparent so you can see the grain.

Re: Rock Inn re-releaseing the CSS in RRG5 Form?

I have one of the 6 . it's a pretty good guitar overall. My favorite things about the guitar are the figured maple binding installed on the neck and the excellent fret work.

The frets are so perfectly shaped that they must have been done off the guitar and then installed. There's no other way to round fret ends so perfectly.

It is possible to cut them to length , keep them sorted as to what fret slot it belongs to and then install it when it is done. Anyway, I have never seen a fret job done that nicely on any guitar of any price range.
