S-Prestige swirl?

I've seen this on the 'Bay: 270248852879
From what I understand, it's a 2007 limited editon. I've never heard of it!!!

Any opinions?

Nice guitar, but some of the photos show the guitar lying on a tile floor, that is not great in my opinion, why risk scratching a brand new mint condition guitar.....

But I'm only asking... I have never heard of this particular "limited edition"!

Actually it's linoleum. Not as bad as tile but I still would've put a towel or something under the axe.

I remember that one. It was either released in 2006 or 2007. I think 2007...

I just checked Rich' site. It's a 2007 model.

Linoleum won't harm the guitar. But there's also a pic of the guitar laying flat on it's back. That's not a wise thing to do with a titled headstock(!).

I guess if it's for a second or two, just to grab the pic, it won't harm the guitar.

Yeah it wont harm the guitar, but its tainted in my opinion.

If your trying to sell a brand new guitar, showing it lying on the floor is not a good sales strategy in my opinion ...!!!

That guitar wasn't a special edition. It was a production guitar. However, it was an Indo-made Prestige. There's one or two others of the same model but with a different wood on the top.

I've seen it in person and it looks much better in person than it does in pics. Personally, it felt great, but I don't care for the ZR trem. I've got 4 S series with the ZR and I just don't like them.

But if the ZR trem is your thing then you'll love this guitar!

Well, I've got about 14 other RGs that have an Edge of some sort in them. That's what I mainly play...actually, mostly my 7's.

It's not really a swirl. It's just Ebony, undyed in it's naturally figured state. It also came in Bubinga and Burl Poplar tops.

For a second I thought I was gonna see pics of that god awful GC exclusive "sanded-down", 3 color S620 lol

And a minor correction to a poster above me : Its Korean, not Indonesian.
