What I mean is, the Jems (the ones I've seen) have plastics covers, so do the J-customs (for example those nice fake tortoise shell)...so what guitars come with anodized aluminum cavity covers?
If you thought aluminum was a poor conductor, try anodized aluminum
In order for the cavity to be properly shielded you need a full Faraday's cage, IE the full cavity walls should be metallized (or a mesh of sufficiently small holes) AND interconnected.
