Horrible. The lines aren't even straight or the same thicknesses. But the string job pretty much tells us all we need to know.

The mentally handicapped are allowed to play guitar too. Afterall they can be president of the US.
Too bad for the guitar though.

I dunno, didn't Satriani's Black Dog have silver paint marker all over the top of it? I wouldn't do it myself, but I've seen far worse right here from people who know what they're doing.

Re: some people seriously butcher their guitars
To each his own, I say. My first Ibanez was a 1991 RG570 and it has stickers and permanent marker all over it - I wouldn't do that now, but I still love that guitar.

Re: some people seriously butcher their guitars
magic marker on the body of the guitar is no big deal IMO as long as it looks nice, but i would never draw with a marker on a
maple fretboard
.
i'd imagine that if you have sweaty hands and you do alot of bending you would smudge the marker all over the fretboard and it would look terrible.

Re: some people seriously butcher their guitars
It does seem a shame when you see it yeah.
But it's his guitar to do what he likes with it. It's completely up to him. Eventually he will release someday that he has ruined it, and he will probably regret it at some point. I'm sure we have all regreted doing mods to a guitar that we have liked before, lol.
