Squeaking trem bar on Edge Zero What's up???

Anyone else got this problem?
On my 8470, when I rotate the trem arm, it makes this horrific squeaking- crackling noise. It was ok in the beggining, it started about a week ago. BTW it has an edge zero bridge. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

It only squeaks because your amp is not loud enough!
Just kidding, try some oil.. I don't know if vaseline would help, but it would get really slippery.
On other hand, doesn't this bar have washers?

be careful to put the oil on the tip groove only.

WD40 isn't oil. Maybe use some grease on a toothpick like nuno has illustrated.

Also check the orientation of the little plastic ring that is inside the tension adjuster cap. There is a ridge that has to line up with the slot in the sleeve.
