SRG2520

Recently, I had a chance to visit Japan and found this sweet guitar in Shimamura Shop. They say it's their limited original model in 2003, and was the last one left in this shop. It's a Prestige model and I got it new for 59,800yen, which I thought was a good buy. It is basically the same as RG2000 series with a little twist like 3pc Super Wizard neck, 2 Dimarzio/ibz PUs, perloid neck binding, and bigger abalone dot inlays.

All I can say is Damn - look at the fret dressing - how perfect is that!

Send the pictures to Gibson as an example of how to do a fret dress on a prestige instrument - please!!!!!

Thanks guys! Actually, the price-tag back in 2003 was 79,800yen. Since this one was sitting in the shop unsold for almost 4 years, it was on sale. They came in 2 colors, one in white as you see on the pic and the other is galaxy black, which was already sold out in the shop. The only difference from RG2000 series is that it doesn't come with a Prestige Hard Case. This is my first time owning Ibanez guitar and I am quite amazed by the quality of MIJ guitar! and sure is the thinnest guitar neck I've ever played
