strange serial number

Yesterday, I bought a RGT3120. I was looking at the serial number and it is F030000. From what I've seen, The F represents the factory where it was made and the 03 means it's a 2003. The zeros are what I can't figure out. Anybody have any ideas?

I think I left off a zero. After the 3, there are nothing but zeros. I was under the impression that the last digits represented the production number.

I guess you could say it was the first built, although literally it was the 0 built
