The 2620RGs blue top?

A guy is selling a RG2620 and it has a deep blue kinda top with white binding around. Couldnt find anything about em, only some scattered pics on google, but why are the ones sold now in that not good looking weird boxpattern in gray or something. Are the deep blue top ones rare or something? what are they worth?

What do you mean by TB? The seller sells it as an "Ibanez prestige 2620QMSP"

Also, how is the tremolo on that ? Does it do well with alot of usage and hard pulling?

yep, its 2003 model Sapphire Blue, I thought it was tranparent blue (TB). Trem is Edge Pro, so it does do well with extreme trem abuse if setup is right.

Ok, are they worth more than the ones available now? Are they rare or anything like that?

I dont think it is rare but they are discontinued and we haven't seen all 08 models yet. There is another model 2420 in Sapphire Blue with off set dot, thats rare.

Re: The 2620RGs blue top?

Those are nice guitars, euro/jap only models iirc. Dimarzio/Ibz Pickups, EP trem, Ultra neck. A friend of mine has the red version. Very nice guitar.

edit: The pickup rings on that guitar are not stock - those guitars came with direct mount pickups and you can still see parts of the original routings (the triangular 'ears') next to the pickup rings. But they are a good opportunity for you to talk him into lowering the price a bit
