The decision has been made! DUN-DUN-DUNHHH!

1. Take this 2550E

2. Send it to Rick at Guitar Guru.

3. Paint that sumbitch seafoam green.

4. Have said guitar returned to me and much rejoicing will be had by...well, just me.

I decided after much pondering to leave the Destroyer be. The 2550E, on the other hand, will look great in seafoam green with that pickguard so I'm going for it. Leaving the headstock as black, tho.

well, quickly as it's dreamed, sometimes it's taken away. My kid has a huge hockey equipment list to get so this job is on hold till further notice.

Nice!!! I like green. I think superstrat type guitars should be more widely available in this colour. When I'm browsing through the bay or the web and come across green guitars they always catch my eye.

Great idea, how it turns out well. Btw, that neck does not look like an original RG2550E neck - based on the small dot inlays it's probably from an RG1570. I had an original RG2550E and the dot inlays were as large as the RG550's.

2005 still had the large dots.
2006, along with the switch to 58mm Wizard, got small dots.

Interesting, that explains it. I had a large-dot 2550E and a 2550E early 2008 with ghost sharktooth inlays - didn't know there was a small-dot version

Oh thank god....

Seafoam will look HOT on that guitar, but you gotta match the headstock for the complete look.

Is that the Edge Pro? I do like the look of the 2550.
