the S540-Japan Finish - The funny coloured one...

Right, this is to Kevan, but anybody can help...

I think I recall you mentioning a 'funny story' about the S540-Japan's finish a while ago - it's not a standard MC, that much is obvious, but what is the finish really like?

And secondly, would you get one yourself?

Thanks.

I've got an S540LTD but I'm not familiar with the Japanese model. *Sweet guitar though, mine is a translucent puple and I upgraded the pickups with evolutions.

I did take a picture of this guitar a while back, but since rearraging my room..I can't find it.
But I will look for it, and when I find it, I'll post it here. It's something like a swirl finish in dark pastel colours. With powdered gold hardware.

Im guessing either paper, or some cool method with a big electronic device with electrical charges arc'ing from a big static electrical ball and some mad scientist with white poofy hair running around laughing to himself. *Very Dr. Frankenstein-ish.
I'd guess the latter.

That is totally hot, I've got a couple theories about the paint, but I'm saying anything until I'm sure about it!
Really nice looking axe though
