The wait is on! Ordered an RG1570

I ordered an Ibanez RG1570 from Rich (http://www.ibanezrules.com for those that don't know) last week. He's still waiting for a delivery from Ibanez so in the meantime I'll just twiddle my thumbs patiently! I bought my last electric guitar about 16 years ago - a Washburn MG-34 (same colour as this one http://www.daddys.com/detail.php?ite...Number=WAS0301). I bought my first electric guitar about 21 years ago - an Aria Pro II (something like this http://www.wikizic.org/Aria-Pro-II-M.../gallery-1.htm). So I keep my guitars a long time but these days I only play at home as I'm not a good guitarist by any stretch of the imagination. I'm very excited, so hurry up Ibanez!

You're going to love that RG, especially comparing it to an import Washburn. Just better quality and feel all the way around. Enjoy it!

Great guitar. Really thin neck on those 1570's. The clock is ticking, and by the time you've read this post that Ibanez will be a little bit closer to arriving. It'll be worth the wait. Hope you enjoy the guitar!!

Did you have Rich give the guitar one of his professional setup levels? He does a great job and you'll be happy you had him do it!

Yes, I ordered the silver setup. It's sort of wasted on me, given I'm not that good and I only play at home, but I thought I'd spoil myself.

Now, where's the damn guitar Ibanez!!!???

It's not wasted on you if you can enjoy the difference. Believe me, I suck at the guitar and even I can appreciate the difference.

I only got to play mine for 3 days before I came to visit my sister in South Carolina, and I've been thinking about it ever since lol. I've only been able to play a Schecter Omen 6 since I've been down here, and as you can imagine it just doesn't even compare to that shiny ibby.

Luckily though we'll be reunited on Monday at 4:00pm.....

Great guitar kid. I bougth one Mirage Red.

The neck is so smooth.

Mine has Evo in neck and Super distortion in bridge.

Sounds amazing.

Play a lot and have fun.

I've got a pair of those...in Mirage Red and Mirage Blue, the red one's loaded with Breeds and a Fast Track 1 in the middle, the blue one's got white Seymours...A custom in the bridge and a jazz in the neck...
