Think I lost it!

Well I had worked months to save up and buy my 1570 and I loved her so. So much that I kept her in my semi with me to play while I got loaded or was sitting at a truck stop. Well today my trailer buckled with a 44,000lb steel coil on and rolled my truck. I have not had a chance to go to the yard where they towed my truck back in two pieces, but I am pretty sure I lost her in the process as I kept her in my sleeper. I am ok though just some scraps and pulled my neck a little. If she is a total loss though I am sure I can at least sell the trem, pickups and maybe the tuners here on jemsite. I will keep you guys up to date though.

Guitars can be replaced, people can't. Be thankful you're around to worry if your axe made it. Insurance should fully replace anything that was lost or broken.

Sorry to hear about your accident DV8, but glad too hear that you are ok.

Did you keep your 1570 in a case? If so, there still might be a chance it will be ok.

Yeah I kept her in a coffin case. Actually I told my wife that if it does survive then I am writing coffin case and sending them pictures as a testiment to the beating their cases can stand...LOL

^^^
+1 good to know you're safe and its only the guitar you're worrying about. As Rich said, don't worry, insurance should be able to give you a new one.

Good news !! gig bags are ok but you can't beat a quality hard case when it comes to road traffic accidents ! Glad you and your Ibanez are safe.

Well here are some pictures of the truck that I survived in. All I can say is that Kenworth builds great trucks and THANK GOD for seatbelts, I never move an inch without mine on.

Oh, ya here is the coil that I was carrying. It weighed 44,620lbs. so not a particulary heavy coil, but not a baby none the less.
