what company, what are you looking for etc. can't really help you much.
but maybe, generally guitars that are priced around the same?

High end Ibanez, mesa boogie, eventide etc. absolutely no marshalls and fenders.

yes, it's pretty much an original RG2027X double edge 7, with dimarzios pickups instead of the stock v77/v87's and a three way switch for magnetic-both piezo and magnetic-piezo only.

Re: trade RG2027 for what??
There are literally 100's of 'close' trades for that guitar. Unless you have a very specific instrument that's available that you have a question about, I would highly suggest selling it for as much as you can and getting whatever it is you want. The added effort to sell is definitely worth it.

I would never get rid of that guitar. Well....I have before. But that's why I'm saying it. You'll regret it.

I had one, don't miss it at all honestly. I may have gotten a dead one though.

Re: trade RG2027 for what??
it's a great guitar, but I do have two of them.
On the other hand, it is not that I need to do it.

Ive got one in the TFK finish - and have been thinking about getting the mohog body cleaned up with a clear gloss and burst finish - then add middle pick-up and a Pearloid pickguard.
but would never part with it! it is way too cool!
