I found the T-No online for about 40 quid (25 if I get it from the US). So I think yay, the music shop I've frequented for the past 5 years will be able to get me one and it'll cost somewhere in the middle since it is me.
So I ring up first and I'm told by one of the regular employees that there is a new manager, and he is a total dickhead. So I ask if they could order in a T-No. He says aye should be no problem. He then (has to) ask the manager about it and ring me back.
Ten mins ago I got a phone call from the manager, a rude little **** by the sounds of it "Yeah it'll be £85"... I said it's £40 most other places. He then told me to prove it and more or less called me a liar...
I explained that I shop there all the time and that he could check my account record to confirm that, and speaking to me like that will lose them a good customer. He then said "Hmm well, we'll survive". Charming.
I've sank thousands of pounds into their business for years. I know the owner of the shop and I'm going to give him a ring tonight. This douche could lose them a lot of business and could mean the end of my fave hole in the wall.
