Two J-Customs w/ Vine Inlays - They look a lot like some of

I think perhaps these two J-customs were discussed on the old forum, but just in case not, I figured it worth posting links to the images of them:
JCRG-3VV (Vintage Violin):
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/information/...s/jcrg_3vv.jpg
JCRG-3GA (Gold Amber):
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/information/...s/jcrg_3ga.jpg
How come Ibanez doesn't make gold bars to go with gold trems?

Is it just me or is it the same guitar in both pictures?

Anyhow, those are both sweet. *I want one or two of them.

I think the black bar looks good considering the black fine tuners and lock blocks.

The first guitar has a burst to it, second one is solid.

Two J-Customs w/ Vine Inlays

I went digging in the old forum and discovered that Stefano put up a link to a page at Ishibashi that had a couple (even smaller) pics of these two J-Customs back in October.
http://jemsiteforum.com/discus/messages/32/2560.html?
http://ishibashi.co.jp/report/gakkisai2000/page-2.htm
While I was looking for it, I came across the thread about how many J-Custom models there are in existence. Glen said info from Ibanez put the number around 60.
Wouldn't it be nice if Ibanez dedicated a couple of pages of their website documenting these? I'm sure if we could see them all, everyone here would find a Holy Grail worth questing for ala Kevan and the ever elusive RG-Egypt.
I'm curious how many 7-string J-Custom models they've produced. I can think of only two: The CST and the RG7-1-VL. Any others out there?

They're dead.

Sorry- I can't edit in this Forum anymore, otherwise I'd repair them with the proper links.

there's nothing to fix. the JPGs are no longer on the remote server... smart idea to cut bandwidth given the number of views from the forum here ...glen

Dude, those are nice. I especially like the JCRG-3--I'm fond of amber and looks like JPM neck dimensions.

Agreed- the JCRG3 looks Grrreat - but why did they decide to leave the headstock black and not matching the top?? I think it'd look so much better.[Listen to me; "moan moan"; I want it all, and I want it now...] :idunno:
