UFO *Custom Guitar - got pix

way back before I knew what I was doing with a guitar, I went int the local guitar store and was gonna buy a guitar. *I was dead set on Ibanez, but couldn't decide which one. *The store guys tried to talk me into this Custom Ibanez with an alien landing graphic on it for $500. *It was used, and in my naivity, I went with a brand new RG450 instead for $30 less.
Now I shoot myself for not getting the guitar, because I guess it actually would have been a pretty darn good deal and I KNOW it would have been a much better guitar. *Can anyone confirm that model as a genuine Ibanez Custom paint job?

It could have been a USA Custom, but without any detailed description, it's hard to say.

Theres some catalog scans of the USA Customs in the Jemsite Vault. You can check to see if any of those paint jobs match your memory.

Totally random. There have been a load of elderly thread revivals of late, and I'm trying to find the Methuselah of threads, the Tutankhamen's mummy of threads, the Big Bang of threads and expose it to thread archaeologists worldwide before it finally crumbles to dust.

Oh yeah, and I'm really bored at work today, did I mention that?
