Re: Unusual J Custom

I am pretty sure it is a J-Custom RG-1302LBU (the LBU is the finish name). It is an older J-C, from 1996-97.

I know Russian. There is not much in the descriptions though. And I am unsure about the serial number either.

Yeh TBH that's what I'm most interested in. The wood has a very interesting grain.

Re: Unusual J Custom

The countersunk strap pins are strange. If I remember correctly, it's a Jim Dunlop thing, right? They require an irreversible body modification; impossible to replace them by Schallers, for example.

Re: Unusual J Custom

Ibanez should offer more ash/ alder bodied RG's but sadly they don't.

Yeah they're the Dunlop style ones. You don't need to counter sink them to work, but Ibanez just wanted to be different. You *COULD* reverse them by plugging the hole with a dowel and putting another strap pin in, but I don't mind the strap lock system they have.
