USA CUSTOM COSMIC SWIRL!!!!

Just scored that cosmic swil that was on ebay....it's super sweet, not nearly as bad as i thought it would be..I now own cosmic, angels depart, and grim reaper, i'm really stoked!!! how do I ad pics???

First of all you hang out here and make a few more (non-spam) posts to proove you're a "real" person.

When you get to 10 legitimate posts you'll be able to link to a photobucket/imageshack etc account and show us your collection.

I know this might sound annoying but we had a string of spammers a while back and found the 10 post "real-member" cutoff as the most effective way of doing things.

I was going to list my 91 Cosmic Swirl on ebay last year when I saw this very one listed. I'm thinking it was in TN?? Anyway, I'm going to be listing mine for sale soon.

Funny, I've been lurking this site for years... now I find out I have to post 10 times before I can throw photos up. .

I've called mine the Eyeball-Banez for over 20 years now...

I sold mine for $1650 to get my first JEM. A mint VSBL. I didn't play it much because it was in like new condition and didn't want to shadow the maple board. I have come to realize I want guitars to play and not collect. My cosmic swirl had the original case too. I miss it but it was worth it to get my 1st JEM.

Sold it in March to get the VSBL from a fellow Jemsiter. The Cosmic Swirl was near mint. Only had one chip on the back edge by the input jack. Other than that it looked brand new. Even the Edge, the trim ring, and all the screws looked new. No rust or pimples anywhere. It was sold new here in town and had the music store sticker on the back of the headstock. Funny that the one on the bay has a '90 serial number like mine did.

Kind of suprised it went for so cheap. These Cosmic swirls seem to bring the most of all the USA Customs. It was kind of abused though. The USACs are some of the best built guitars Ibanez has ever done. They play as nice as any JEM. I've had 2 and they are top notch guitars. I don't think I've seen a Cosmic Swirl with a reverse headstock but it is certainly possible since they were all custom ordered.

I've got the "Digital Madness" from the earlier USA Custom Run, and it appears to be a RG570 with a fancy paint job - the neck is for sure the same, I've got one from that year. As time went on did they make noticable changes other than cosmetics?
