USRG Dreaming...

I was just (again) totally drooling over Glen's USRG10 photos in the gallery. I was in love the first time I saw that baby. Is that stock finish or has it been redone?

Just how hard would it be to come by a USRG10, and how much could a guy expect to pay for one? (Thus the subject, "Dreaming...". But somehow, someday, someway, I'm gonna own one."

my usrg10 was an original color, although i too have not seen that on any other USRG (yet). I'm sure more were made, it's just a matter of finding them. Ibanez seemed to have made (and advertised) alot more of the "butterscotch" ones, that were uniform in color and not burst.

The 10s appear from time to time, expect to pay $600-800 in undamaged condition. Unlike JEMs, these are harder to find on the used market, so asking price might not be as negotiable... and waiting for another to appear for sale might be months, not days. Good luck... glen

Oops... guess i can't read

I've seen pics of a few butterscotch and can't say that i think much of them. I'd still buy one, mind you, but would have to do something about the finish. At any rate... it'll be a) a long time before one comes up, b) will come up right when i have no money (which is always), so no problem at the moment!
