Usrg inlays - Anyone else hate plastic?

I'm thinking about replacing the plastic dots with abalone or paua shell. I'm friends with an inlay artist, so he'll help me out. What do you guys think? Death to plastic!!!!!!!!:shoot:

which guitar are you speaking about? All of the USRGs and UCEWs had real inlays... glen

It's a USRG-30. Oops, :doh: I guess they're not plastic, but I think that Paua or mother of pearl would look much nicer. I still hate plastic inlays though.
