Question

USRG Part Needed - Please Help!

Hey there all!!! I'm hoping that somebody out there might just happen to have one of the plates that the locking nut mounts to on a USRG30 (tension free) neck? It's approx 22mm x 10mm with 3 holes in it - one to mount it to the neck 'bar' and two to mount the locking nut to it. Before I go to the trouble of fabricating one, I figured that I'd ask!!!

Email Bunker guitars. They're probably you're best chance of getting one. --Jason

Thanks for the suggestion...I guess that I should have mentioned already having tried that approach and have also been in touch with Jim Donahue & Dave Bunker to see if those guys had one. No luck so far.....

So Bunker didn't have one? That's strange. I would have guessed that piece would be common to all his tension free necks that use a lock nut. That's probably going to be a difficult piece to track down. --Jason

Try Treker guitars. According to Dave Bunker, his son runs Treker and has taken over all the Ibanez tension free stuff. They can build you a complete factory-style neck if you want. www.trekerguitars.com
