Sounds really amazing. Clear differential tone with good gain.
This guitar sings...
I've never felt the need to change this one with another...
John Petrucci played it much so this could't be a bad one.

I play into a Marshall LM-6101 Anniversary Combo and it sounds great...

By the way... congratulations to the great game of your national soccerteam yesterday...

Today it's on us (germany) to proof, if we could really count to the favourites of this event..

God question.. I've never seen any specs about this guitar.
But I don't think it's mahogany....

What are the JPM's made of?

Basswoood.
Show us some closeups of the back and sides. The wood grain may let us tell something about it.

Edit:
Users from a german board are very shure, that this is mahogany.
Basswood and maple top doesn't make sense...

So... mahogany!

After years, I put the pix on a new location.
Just got this axe perfectly adjusted by a famous german luthier in berlin.
What a wonderful axe. Plays like hell ;-)
